How to avoid a tourist hit to the tourism industry in the Philippines
Tourism Management & Tourism (TMT) has published a new advice on how to avoid the negative impacts of a tourist tourism hit.
The agency advises tourists to not get lost and to seek the best locations to visit during a tourist tourist season.
“The most important thing is to seek a location where there are no traffic lights and that the visibility of the tourist attractions is good,” TMT CEO, Paulo Ceballos, said in a statement.
“If you have any questions, we invite you to contact us by email at [email protected]”
The agency recommends the following as a good tip to avoid tourism impacts during the tourist season:Stay away from tourist hotspots and areas of the country that are busy and congested.
Avoid tourist areas of congested cities, such as tourist hotspot areas.
Avoid walking at night.
Avoid crowds, particularly at crowded tourist areas.
Avoid standing near busy roads.
Do not travel to tourist hotspits and areas.TMT advises the public to monitor their activity to make sure that they don’t cross paths with people in need of medical assistance.
It also advises tourists not to take photos of the coast or ocean, which can be easily used by the media and tourism operators to generate negative publicity about the tourism sector.
“Don’t let yourself be influenced by the negative press about your visit,” Ceballo said.
“Be aware that the media, tourism operators and others can easily manipulate your actions.”TMT has advised tourists to make a plan in advance for a trip, as well as to monitor what they plan to do while in the country.
